PCBC Academy Registration - 2025/2026 Season
Registrations are open and we are looking forward to another fun filled season of biking.
What is PCBC academy? its organised group rides every week for kids aged 10-18. The academy is run for terms 4 and 1. Each group will be around 8 kids in size with a coach and a tail end charlie. The groups are organised based on riding ability, fitness and friendships formed and rides will be tailored to the groups ability. The aim of the group rides is to improve fitness and riding ability while having loads of fun.
Rides are every Tuesday from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Cost is $250, which includes:
Group rides every week of term 4 and 1.
Tailored coaching for each group. Good adult to child ratio.
End of year celebrations - 440 ride and BBQ (will need to purchase 440 pass separately), last ride of term 4 pizza night, last night of term 1 racing and prize giving.
Shuttle night - 1 per group/term.
Trained coache(s) will circulate for tailored skills sessions - 2 to 3 per group/season.
MTB Camp - Rotorua (at own cost) - academy to provide ride leads.
New this season:
Later start for all to suit those attending out of area.
Qualified coaches. These coaches will circulate each group providing skills training tailored at that group.
Gravity and XC programme aimed at kids who want to take their riding skills to the next level and get race ready. This programme is for seasoned riders who are ideally already racing or ready to start racing. Numbers will be limited so entry will be invite only based on the riders ability, fitness and enthusiasm for racing. The programme will be led by a team of coaches that are expert riders and have racing experience. We are really looking forward to introducing this programme and providing the tools to help these riders improve skill, race times and fitness. Please register your interest by ticking the box on the form. This programme is for ages 12 and above, however we know there are some good younger riders out there so <12 yo will be considered on a case by case basis.

Before registering please read the Riders Agreement. By joining the PCBC Youth Academy you and your child accept you have both read this agreement and will adhere to it.

To enable us to put you in the correct group, please advise what skill level you are. Please look at the table below and let us know in the registration form what level you are. The registration form will be in the email that you will receive after payment.
